Any experiencie with aripiprazole and breastfeeding?
Hello!! Soon my baby will be here and I will love to have the chance of breastfeeding my baby. However I have been on aripiprazole since 5th motnh of my pregnaxy due my bipolar diagnosis. A lot of documents mark the medicine as safe however others indicated that could decrease the production of milk..has anyone has been under the same medicine?

I had to quit breastfeeding due to abilify. couldn’t keep my supply up no matter how much I pumped :(
Hi. I'm on the same medication due the same diagnosis . I have been able to breastfeeding my baby without any problem. Its true that medication can affect your level of prolactin but there is no way to anticipate how much will be the impact. Make sure to be around a breastfeeding consultant to receive orientation about how to properly stimulate. You can do it! Trust yourself!
