Formula and breastmilk are different recommendations so that makes a difference. Formula definitely does increase as they get older. For breastmilk it’s recommended 1-1.25 oz per hour baby doesn’t nurse/get a bottle. So 2 hours would be 2-2.5 oz bottle. Be sure you’re pacefeeding bottles, it helps baby work a little more for their milk and helps them eat slower to realize they’re full and not just eating to be eating leading to over feeding them. ❤️
@Katelyn my baby only takes 2-3oz per feeding whether it's formula or breastmilk 😥
If they’re eating every 2-3 hours that’s about normal! Especially with breastmilk, and if you’re pacefeeding. If they’re having plenty of wet/dirty diapers, gaining weight (even if just on their own curve), not overly sleeping, and meeting milestones, I wouldn’t be too concerned ❤️
4-5oz per bottle, about 30 oz a day
My daughter drinks 4oz every hour-hour and a half 😅
Breast milk about 4-5 oz every 2-3 hours
My girl is doing 7-8oz every 4 hrs
So not alot of research out there for combo fed babies and it depends what ur making but I give my baby 2-3 ounces of breast milk and top it up to 4.5 ounces and that seems to be good he is 4 months old. I also nurse between bottles but I’m glad to use some formula or my baby would be eating a lot more often the formula keeps him satisfied for an extra hour
My girl is eating about 30oz these days- about 5 oz per bottle
