Silent reflux / tongue tie

Hi my 6 week old has CMPA, his been put onto Neocate which has helped his poos and the moaning and groaning at night however, his silent reflux has been ten times worse, doesn’t like to lay flat on his back, cry’s whilst drinking his bottle etc, presuming it’s because Neocate is thinner. However he does have a posterior tongue tie, which the midwife’s weren’t concerned about, but I’ve pushed for a referral and we’re going first week of jan. Has anyone’s little one had their tongue tie cut and it helped their silent reflux? Thanks x

Hi, really sorry to jump on this post. What symptoms did you little one have for their CMPA? X

Following as my baby has CMPA as well, also a tongue tie that the nhs wont cut as she’s formula fed 🤦🏻‍♀️ and bad silent reflux! I might push abit more

@Tiegan hi, mine had mucus in her poos, spotty rash on her face, straining/thrashing for a poo but when they came it was diaherra with mucus in, she was pooing loads as well we were constantly changing poos, silent reflux (unsure if this is cmpa related), slow weight gain she’s 4 weeks and only 8lb xx

Hey! My little girl is 8 weeks old and I only found out last week that she had posteria tongue tie. I actually went private and had her tongue tie division today and already shes feeding better! She also suffers with silent reflux which has already started to seem like it’s eased. The tongue tie division is not nice! Her little cry even though it was only for 20 seconds. She’s been quite unsettled today so I would advise that if 8 weeks then calpol is definitely needed x
