Should I keep trying in January if unsuccessful this week?

My fiancé and I have been ttc since July, though we’ve been having unprotected sex since my daughter was born in February 2023 lol. If this cycle is unsuccessful, I really need to reconsider my next steps because I’ve been struggling with body dysphoria for decades. I’ve been working out for two months, eating healthy, and even fasting, but my body hasn’t changed much. I only need to lose 38 pounds to reach my pre-baby weight. My fiancé and I have been discussing whether I should start Ozempic in January or continue trying to conceive. I also have an appointment with my midwife in February to discuss potential secondary infertility, as well as a 1.5-hour consultation with a fertility center to explore our options. I’d really appreciate your input, advice, or opinions on what I should do!

I say yes. I’ve been trying since July of this year too, and had the same talk with my husband about starting another cycle in January. Twins lol. Don’t give up God will bless you again. I’ve been dealing with fertility doctors since July and I did get pregnant in August (first pregnancy ever) but it ended in a chemical pregnancy ever since then nothing has happened and I’ve been on and off with cycles due to my husbands work schedule 🙄 we did a second round in November and came out negative but I made the decision to start up again in January and have full and complete faith in God and not to give up. With all the medication I was taking it made be blow up and I struggle with my weight as well but it’s all worth it cause I know I’ll end up with my baby soon. Keep trying

If you’re seeing any change at all in two months that’s awesome! There’s nothing harder than trying to lose weight! I wanted to try shots too but I ended up pregnant so I’m going to out that on the back burner for after if this one sticks! I’ve had two losses this year

You will gain weight when your pregnant anyhow, so it's really up to what you what to do loose weight first or keep trying for a baby. I have several friends with body dysmorphia that's are like 120-130 pounds. True body dysmorphia, doesn't go away with just loosing weight. :(I wish you the best, good luck though in your decision ! 💕💕

I’ve been reading this book on nutrition for fertility. It’s been so helpful. Even has a chapter for the guys in there.
