Christmas pozole

I’m sorry to be that person but I can’t help myself lol. Pozole can be chicken or pork, even vegan with mushrooms. If you make beef that’s more birria than pozole. 😝

Pozole should have oregano and lettuce, no cilantro or cabbage. Xoxo pozole police haha

@Virginia i guess maybe the toppings might be a regional thing? every Mexican Christmas party I've been to that served pozole served it with cilantro, radishes, and cabbage. granted, it was always chicken, but I've never had lettuce or oregano with pozole

You got me thinking and you are right , cilantro will be served with onions and always radishes yes. Cabbage though… don’t think there is a single pozole with cabbage, might be confused easily with iceberg lettuce.

nooo they're so different 😭 i can't stand iceberg lettuce. we have always used green cabbage. like I said maybe it's just a regional or preferential thing
