PPA looking for advice

I have very, very severe anxiety and anger postpartum. I hold back tears and panic attacks a lot when my partners family holds my 2 month old baby. Different culture and language barriers which I think causes it or adds to it. 🥲 I'm more comfortable with my parents brother who does speak English, I don't speak Spanish. Advice? Am I alone in this? Is this illogical?

I can't offer you any advice, other than; don't let your baby see you like this. They'll think this behaviour is normal and copy it

@Natalie How do I hide that from her more then I already do? Maybe people can see I'm slightly uncomfortable or something but for the most part I leave it till I'm alone to let out my stress

I was super uncomfortable with anyone holding my baby for a few months also! It gets better. Once he got his vaccinations I felt a lot better about it and as he got older, he would cry if he didn’t want the other person to hold him- knowing when he’s uncomfortable with someone else makes it easier to let someone else hold him because I would just take him back and nobody would argue because he was crying

I still get like this to be honest and my baby is 6 months old, there’s only a few people I feel comfortable holding him: his dad, his grandma, his grandad and his uncle.
