DBS (student nurse)

Has anyone got an enhanced dbs done if so how long did it take to get the certificate delivered to you. I submitted an application 3 days ago on the same day I submitted it the application immediately progressed to stage four. Maybe that’s a sign the dbs may arrive sooner rather than later.

They are coming back pretty quickly atm, the site we use they’re being cleared same day. Certificate will follow in the post a few days later! x

@Aps thanks for getting back to me my application is still stuck at stage 4 it’s been on that stage since I’ve submitted the application im a bit cynical about whether I will get my dbs ref before my placement start (6th of jan)

Mine came back within the same week

Don’t forget it’s Christmas week. So it’ll probably be next week.

Usually pretty quick but because it's Xmas week it might be next week now, goodluck on your placement hun x

I'm a HCA, I've had it done twice, came within 6 weeks I think

@Star im a hca too mine came immediately but yeah ill just have to wait fingers crossed it comes next week! X

@Joanna yea I think mine came sooner than 6 weeks, but with the time of year it can be tricky
