Attachment to soft toy

My daughter has never been attached to anything. Recently when potty training she got attached to a muslin blanket. Once she was less nervous, she forgot about that. But she’s really taken to one of her bunny soft toys. Will randomly shout out “I need bunny! Where is bunny!” 😅 No issues but wondering if this is the “normal” age or it’s due to the changes happening. (Potty training and I’m having another baby next month)

My son has a comforter he's super attached with, started when he started nursery when he was 21 months and now he wants it most of the time. We have 2 of the same one so we can wash them 😂 From what I've read it's really normal for them to have a security item of some sort at this age.

Our LG has become obsessed with all of them. She takes at least 4 to bed with her but is particularly attached to an Anna from frozen doll. It all seems very normal! She talks to them and tells them they're her best friend!

@Natasha oh that’s so cute! 😂😂 yeah mine chooses which one she wants to sleep with every night, but bunny is always one of them!

@Louise good idea! 😂

My LO has a bunny comforter and won’t go anywhere without it . We’ve had to purchase 6 of them on Vinted as they stopped selling them in the shops and if she didn’t have one there would be a major meltdown! 😂

@Amie oh no! 😂 mine is a Jellycat bunny so it should be available for awhile I hope!

My LG was super attached to one of her teddies when she started nursery last year, took it to nursery and everywhere else. It’s still her special teddy, but she is less attached now.
