@Tessa he drinks A LOT. He’s always thirsty He eats lots of bananas maybe 2-3 full bananas a day. He’s on soy milk mainly because we have a lot of dairy issues on my side. And even days he doesn’t have much dairy he has really bad liquid poops. Am I just not doing enough solid vs liquid? I don’t want to deprive him of drinks when he’s thirst but he’s also started being a picky eater and wasting so much food
It could be just not enough solids? But it’s so hard to tell Some days my son lives on cracks and pouches and other he’s a eating machine But he did have alot of water and watermelon and I noticed more runny poops! Does he like avocados? Maybe more proteins? Or starchy food like pasta and rice
@Tessa thank you! It’s such a confusing situation haha My SIL says it’s normal and they go through phases but they blow outs are getting crazy! Car seat, crib, his ride on toy. I’m going nuts lol! He loves avocado, pasta and rice so maybe I’ll need to make more starch & protein snacks for him and see how that helps !
Oh my gosh I would be going crazy too! Could also be a sign of teething or a sickness coming on! I mean poop changes are normal. But I don’t think blow outs are! My son is 16 months and never had a blow out! (Knock on wood let’s not jinx myself) Hang in there mama! You’re doing amazing
Are the size 5 fitting snuggly around the waist and legs? My little man is 25 lbs and I just moved him into size 4. We are using Pampers cruisers. Too big of a diaper can cause blowouts too.
@Tessa I am 😭 I don’t understand it at all! Poor kiddo ! And poor momma! 🤣 I thought about teething because he just had 4 molars pop in. I hope not a sickness I have two newborns he already got sick the first week they were home 😭 Thank you momma!!
@Kristen yes the size 4 was too small on him, that’s why I had moved him up. I use Costco/Sam’s brand. And it just started recently. We’ve been in size 5 for about 2 months now. And the blow out issue started around 3 weeks ago 😭
How much water and fruit? I found certain fruits make more runny poops. And blueberries make it very dark/black! Could always be a dairy allergy? I don’t think size 6 is the answer but you could always buy a small pack and try them out.?
