Pelvic prolapse

I recently had a d&c surgery following a miscarriage and in the surgery they noticed I had a mild pelvic prolapse. Since the surgery the prolapse has got so much worse I have been referred to PT but I’m worried will it cause issues for future pregnancy’s/ fertility issues??

I'm sorry for your loss. I've had a prolapsed bladder since my second child. I went on to have 3 more. My 5th child is 5 weeks old, so it's possible to have more children. I started doing at home pelvic floor exercises, and it helped to strengthen my core alot more so I would go shead with the PT. I was supposed to and never did, but I wish I did. Good luck!

@Jen this is super reassuring thank you!! I have started pelvic floor exercises whilst waiting for the PT referral so hopefully it helps x

When I was 25 I noticed I had a pro labs. They put a mission inside of me and I’m feeling severe pain on my right side my pelvis every time I ask a doctor to take it out and tell them I’m having pain. It seems like they don’t wanna help me because they’re scared then I had a doctor take it out and I’m still feeling pain. I should’ve never trusted the doctors and put that mesh in. They won’t even take the uterus out. They keep putting it back up instead of taking it out. It seems like they’re scared of the mesh these doctors or something else.

I heard the mesh doesn't hold for everyone, that may be why they are afraid of it. I was 30, and they wanted me to get a hysterectomy to make sure I didn't have any more children before they would give me surgery to fix it, but I wanted more children, so I declined. They should explain the importance of the pelvic floor when getting pregnant bc no Dr ever told me about it.

So true and they never will tell anyone the doctors do not care
