@Parker that was the plan was to get her a card and a little gift. I just wasn’t sure on if we could and how I’d get it to her with not know her schedule and things 🥹😂 but honestly that woman is an angel walking this earth
Yes, my midwife was absolutely amazing. After we had our baby boy in November we took up some bottles of Prosecco and chocolates to say thank you, she was fabulous and I’ll always remember her
@Billie-Jo Aww bless you, they are actually incredible and don't get enough praise. I'd just wait until she does the home visit and givw it to her that way or if you've still got the hospital numbers, contact them and see if you can get it to her ❤️
@Parker I don’t think it’s her that does the home visit 😭 i think that’s the community midwife. At least for me anyway. But I’ll definitely try and give them a call. If not I live 15 minutes away I’ll pop up myself 😂😂

@Ema if you are giving birth at city, her name is Michelle! She has short pixie cut brown hair, wears glasses and her birthday is Boxing Day (we tried to make baby girl hang on so they could be birthday buddies but she was having none of it 😂) she is an angel walking this earth!
@Billie-Jo oh I am so happy for you. I had such a traumatic experience with the birth of my first, I am just praying God finds me the perfect midwife with my next. I am closest to kings mill.
Yes, I took gifts to my midwife, and rhe team, they saved my life. I will be forever gtateful. I plan to take gifts again when baby turns 1.
I gave birth at King's Mill in Mansfield in March and I absolutely loved my midwife and got on with her so well! We were both crying when she came round to check my little girl and then discharged us when she was 6 weeks old. I bought a really nice box of chocolates for her and got her a thank you to an amazing midwife card from thortful. She told me that they always get a lot of thank yous but not many presents so I'm sure she will definitely appreciate it Your baby is beautiful, congratulations 🎊 🩷
