scar infection
my scar has randomly opened and started bleeding, i’ve been to the hospital and have an infection - i’m 4 months pp, anyone else had any experience with infections? did it just go away with antibiotics?

I had an infection but my wound hadnt opened it was just oozing pus and abit of blood, I was put on a 7 day course of antibiotics and it’s seemed to have pushed the infection out and cleared it up
My scar opened. I was told to stay at home,they said that it would heal itself
I’m currently going through an infection with my scar as it’s not properly healed and there is a tiny pin hole in the bit of skin that hasn’t been stitched properly

I had a staple come out at around 4m pp the dissolvable ones. They either dissolve or your body pushes them out. In my case pushed it out. Was super tender for a few days before then a hole appeared on my scar line and a bit of a staple came out. I cleaned it , antibiotic cream and it’s all healed back over again x hope yours heals soon lovely x
