Spotting after cervix check
I’m like 37 + 3.
My OB checked my cervix yesterday after my group b test just bc I’ve been having a lot of Braxton hicks and pressure. I’m only at a 1.
But I’ve been having bloody discharge since. It was pretty red yesterday, but now it’s brown.
Anyone else do it? 😅 I didn’t have any bleeding with my first pregnancy so I’m concerned, even though I googled it perfectly normal.
I’m aiming for a repeat c section and scared she’ll try to slip on out 😂

Yeah, I don't like cervix checks to see if you're dilated. They stick a finger up there. It can prematurely break your mucus plus and expose your baby to bacteria.
I've had 5 cervix checks and each time I bled a little which I thought was weird because I never did with my other 2 but now that I think about it. I'm not sure i did cervical checks until I was in labor... This pregnancy way more high risk so been in hospital a lot and I have 2 days before they can induce. Since I can't have steroid shots.

I had some bleeding the day after a cervical check. It stopped after a full day. Sounds like yours may be lightning up since it’s turning brown. I’m pretty sure the check irritated and caused the spotting. I decided to pass on all cervical checks until absolutely necessary.
