Question for those who have already had babies…

I know there were will be a whole new world of healing to do post birth but wondered when the pregnancy niggles eg back pain, PGP, heartburn etc etc stop? I’m really struggling to move around now and finding the back pain exhausting, just worried I’ll have this to contend with on top of healing from birth and looking after a newborn and it feels a little impossible right now. Praying for some positive stories

For my first it stopped quite quickly. I was exercising when pregnant and after, I think that helped my recovery. Most things stopped right away. Back pain just a little longer. I had a c section so that was another thing on its own. However I got pregnant very quickly after & I think this postpartum is going to be so difficult 😭 especially with my toddler. The point is, it’s really different each pregnancy, just kinda take your time and small, easy exercises when you’re up for it will help.

My PGP stopped as soon as he was born. Back pains took like 8 weeks though but I had epidural if that makes a difference. Heartburn stopped right away too.

All my little niggling things stopped after my boy was born. I felt a little stiff the day after, and the perennial tears still hurt, but the PGP, back pain, even my tendonitis went away after the first day

Hopping on here to say i just had this conversation with my husband earlier cause i cant remember when PGP etc went away with my first. Hoping mine goes away as soon as this baby is born too because my pelvis is just disintegrating at this stage 😭

I had my baby 6 days ago and for the last 2 months of pregnancy I really struggled with the pregnancy pains. Awful pelvic and back pain and was seeing a physio. This pain 90% dissipated with I had my boy last Sunday and I can walk / stand to with a fair amount of ease. As you mentioned, other pains have taken their place (soreness and breast pain) but the pregnancy issues definitely resolved very quickly x

All the pregnancy things stopped as soon as I’d had baby as majority were caused from the pressure of baby in my pelvis 😊
