Help! Who else has a 3 year old that does not like taking turns and still throws tantrums but with an attitude? 🤦‍♀️

This is developmentally normal! Youre raising a girl with strong leadership qualities. Try not to shame her but instead focus on teaching her how to be a good friend. We say something like “ hey it’s much more fun to play when you have a say in the games you play. Do you think your new friend would like to pick the next game?” We also practice at home by pretending we are the friend. We ask “can I pick the game?” Or “ I know you like coloring but could we try building legos together?” And it’s okay to give your child reminders while you watch them interact with other kids “Friends like sharing” “Try asking your new friend what they want to play” “Ask before you take a toy” “Try again, what does a good friend do?” And also when they dont like something “ it’s okay to ask your friend to stop” “It’s okay if you don’t want to okay that game, what game do you want to play?” I also work with a large groups of children aged anywhere between 3-15. This works with all ages
