@Lauryn omg thanks for sharing! Did you feel well supported throughout the pregnancy too?
Hello! I live across the street from casa natal and considered them when I gave birth last March., then decided I’d do a home birth instead and loved the experience of care I received from Midwife Hope Willems and Doula Melanie Dunne who are local to this area and are part of the Homebirth Collective (Haumea Birth and Family Wellness) would 💯 recommend them if you want to consider a homebirth
Absolutely, I attended all the classes that they had and they didn’t force anything on me. It felt warm, comfortable and clean. I didn’t have space for a tub in my home so I loved that they had a really big tub to labor/birth in. When you are their patient, they like to schedule you with each of the midwives during appointments so you can get to know them.
Also, meeting other moms every class was such a huge plus. You get to meet moms that are in different stages of pregnancy. And you can continue meeting moms during their moms groups
Thanks Mamas! This is all so helpful. I gave birth to my first at a birth center in PA and it was a beautiful experience. I’m worried about a home birth but I am open to it. I love the idea of a birth center again though. Do they charge the full amount upfront? Do you mind me asking if you paid through insurance or cash? What insurance do you have? I have Aetna HSA plan.
I’ve called and emailed them asking about a tour but I haven’t heard back. :/
@Summer they float between two offices, so try calling the Morgan hill one if they don’t answer at the Los Gatos one!
I got a hold of Los Gatos! I did a tour and it was everything I wanted and more 🥹 hoping to see a positive test soon so I can start care there 🤞
And I used my HSA plan. We did a payment plan and I paid 3 different times. Then at the end, they’ll give a super bill and reimburse whatever insurance pays for. You can use your HSA
I had blue shield of CA when I was pregnant, a PPO plan
Me!!! I love all the midwives at casa natal
