I literally hated the epidural. This is the only reason why I don’t wanna have more kids
Nothing out of the ordinary after I gave birth to my first with an epidural. But I chose no epidural for my second purely because I did not want to be confined to the bed, I wanted to walk around to help baby drop.
I was in agony with my first child in 2005 was given an epidural and it wear off I was in pain all over since then I have had back problem loosing weight gym and physio never helped up until now is the same it gets so bad was hurting my legs constant pun and needles and migraines. Now I live with it! Second birth I refused it now with this pregnancy they forcing me to have one due to my epilepsy
I had my son nearly a year ago now and I’ve had no issues since his birth
@YellowThoughts do you not want to try no epidural to be able to have more kids?
@Gabrielle no.. it was to painful and when I head mommas screaming when they didn’t get it yeah …I’m to much of a scary person
My backs been hurting like hell since I had mine removed. I already had back issues but this is a new level of hell. I hope it gets better, maybe see a chiropractor if you don’t already? Mine makes a huge difference.
@Sam , I think it’s permanent sis 😭😭😭 because mine went away around month six and now anytime I move too quick. I feel that pain but sharp and both my sister and my mom say that that’s never gonna go away. That sucks.
It’s not the epidural. It’s the pregnancy and birth that causes muscle tension. I’ve been in physical therapy after giving birth because my muscles are extremely tight. My doctor says women want to blame the meds but it’s really the trauma their bodies go through carrying a human and birthing it
it was a good experience, i didn’t have any changes ti my back at all
@Roma I’m sorry! I hope the delivery for this pregnancy is better for you ❤️
@Jodi I’m hoping mine goes back to normal soon ! It’s been 5 years since I last had an epidural so maybe that’s why.. figured the bruising was normal but the shooting pain was new to me
I had mine done wrong it made my right leg numb and I felt everything else after I gave birth I was able to get off the bed and shower & walk about I have frequent pain in my right leg and spine so I’m starting to get concerned myself
I only have one daughter but after i gave birth with my epidural my back is not flexible , it hurts a lot and if im in the floor playing with my daughter i feel like my back is gonna break . Shes gonna be 3 in feb and my back still feels like is gonna break
