Is this mild?

Can anyone tell me if this is a severe enough tongue tie to cause feeding/wind issues in a bottle fed baby please?

Do they have feeding/gas issues? They definitely have a tongue tie that looks similar to my sons that did cause him feeding/gas problems.

You should test range of motion by touching their gums and their tongue should follow your finger. If they can't follow your finger all around their gums then it is more than likely effecting their ability to drink from the bottle properly.

@Cassie massive issues with gas!

Looks like it might be restrictive. Have a look at these videos and see if the movements help. Are you bottle or breast? Is he clicking at them? Does he fall asleep really quickly at the breast/bottle? It could potentially be tension.. an osteopath could help relieve tension. Same with my son we started with oral exercises which helped slightly but eventually got a revision and it really did change things for the better
