She heals me...

I just want to rave about my 4 year old daughter. I never knew how much my heart needed her until she was born. Now everyday even on the hard days I just feel so blessed with her. Today I had an incredibly difficult day for myself, and to top it off I ended up hitting a deer on the road in my parents vehicle (mine is broken down which is part of the depression) I've really tried to keep my emotions in tact today while my child was being hyper, but I ended up going to my room privately and crying. She came and checked on me and wiped my tears away. She said "you're my sweet girl mom" and hugged me tight. Sometimes I wonder who's really the parent here. If only she could understand how much these small gestures mean. I'm a proud mom.
