Thank you for your answer x and wishing your baba quick recovery
My baby had croup but was about a year and a half when she had it. The cough was the worst and interrupted sleep. It lasted for about a week, week and a half. She wasn't hospitalised or given steroids though. X
My kids have had it twice each. They were both over 2 the first time it happened. First symptoms were not being able to breathe in the night, then when they can take a breath it was really raspy sounding and they did the classic croup cough. After 2 hours their breathing was back to normal. We have steroid and bronchodilator inhalers for them as they have viral induced asthma so we used them and they really helped. After that they were back to normal in a couple of days. It’s no fun, I hope your little one is better soon!
Hello, can I ask what symptoms your baby had? I am suspicious my 3mo has it too. Was looking up sounds of croup cough but just can’t tell if his souds like that. He doesn’t have fever tho but has hoarse / cracked voice and cry and runny nose . Hope your little one will feel good soon
