Milk and food routine

What’s everyone’s milk and meal times? My LO has 4 bottles a day (8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm) and a couple of meals/snacks in between but I’m finding it slightly difficult trying to fit it all in, especially if I go out anywhere. Just wondering if anyone has cut a feed out so I could give her 3 instead of 4?

In the last few days we’ve changed to 3. For a few weeks she wasn’t having much of both 2nd + 3rd bottles then on Friday completely refused the 2nd one. So Friday, Saturday Sunday had 3 - 0730/1530/1930. Ideally I’d prefer the middle bottle to be earlier but she’s not interested in it before then 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ve upped her from 7oz feeds to 8. Although yesterday only finished 2nd bottle & had 16.5oz all day 🙄 Breakfast at 0830 Lunch at 1200 Dinner between 1730-1800

We do 2x8oz bottles and 1x9oz - 7, 1/1:30 then 6:30/7 - plus two meals (breakfast and dinner) a day, sometimes 3 or snacks. She doesn’t drink much of her lunch time bottle though so I don’t think it will be long until she drops to 2, although it’s early.

Breast 7:30. 8am breakfast. Then it's nappy change and cloth change for the day. Nap at 10:30 (bottle and pump if she refuses and then nap at 11 for an hour and a half) if they've fallen asleep at 10:30 it's bottle when they wake while I pump. Usually I do food for around 1 as it usually works out about an hour after milk to 30 minutes. Nap around 3. Milk at 3/4 along with pump. 5ish or 6 ish depending on when they woke and last meal for dinner and bed time is anywhere between 7 and 10pm it really depends on how long she naps. I basically do every 3 hours milk while awake. She is awake anywhere between 2 and a half hours and 5 hours of she's fighting naps but an average of 3 and a half hours.

We do milk 7, 11, 3 and 7 and food 8, 12 and 5 ish. If we go out it's normally in the morning 9ish and back home for lunch or in the afternoon after lunch. He happily naps out and about and I find it easier to do bottle on the go than food but he's had food out a few times and it went quite smoothly, don't let it stop you going out x

I find weaning a lot and quite full on. I was told by HV that it would feel like you’re feeding all the time. I think it’s just a grin and bear it sort of thing until they eventually drop a bottle. Sometimes I take a bottle out with me and some food. But yes. It is totally structured around her. Currently Milk 7:30 Breakfast 8:30 Milk 11:50 Lunch 1:15 ish Bottle 3:45/4pm Dinner 5:30pm Bottle 6:50pm I’ve tried stopping the 3:45pm bottle and she wasn’t having any of it. Despite only taking about 150ml. She guzzles 330ml pre weaning. I plan to swap her milk and lunch feeds around when she turns 9 months and then hopefully she will naturally drop the afternoon bottle.

Thanks everyone🥰 My LO never usually cries or moans for a bottle, she has 6oz each feed but I think because she’s used to the routine of having it at those times she just expects it?🤣 she’s never refused or not finished a bottle so I’m just not sure whether it would be worth dropping a feed yet, it’s all trial and error I suppose x

@Charis if she’s finishing it each time. I wouldn’t drop it just yet. I’d maybe start offering more on other bottles first perhaps? And then she may naturally drop it. She will soon let you know if she wants it.
