My child is also refusing We have tried letting her pick knickers, stickers, potty and the toilet staying in and been pants free just commenting so you know you are not alone x

@Fay yes! Tried all the above Let her choose a potty and a toilet seat.

Same mine picked and it just sits there untouched apart from when she puts a doll on it

@Fay YES!! The exact same here

My daughter is exactly the same, tried at Christmas, she screamed no at me and said she wouldn’t use the potty and then got really angry and upset so I stopped trying! She’s 2.5 and I’m not sure what to do x

We’ve been nappy free at home only since Boxing Day, and only 9 days later did she have her first in prompted wee on the potty and she has only done one more since. She does ask for a nappy/pull up when she needs a wee and I’m just going with that, she’s learning the signals of when her body needs a wee I’m hoping to skip out the potty mostly and move straight to the toilet as emptying the potty is a pain! We haven’t done any poo’s and I’m not stressing about those for now. Maybe she’s just not quite ready I have to keep reminding myself they have to learn a whole new way to go to the toilet as they’re not used to sitting still My daughter runs around just before she does a poo so I’ve no idea how we’re going to manage that in the bathroom!

Our LG is the same, when we first got the potty she was happy to do wee’s on it and all was going great. Now it’s as it’s she’s scared of it. Any advice on what methods work would be great?
