I’ve read that stress and crying a lot while pregnant can affect babies sleep once born.
@Sarah thank you, yes he is a very healthy and joyful baby 🥺❤️ literally a Blessing. It only happens in his sleep which makes me think it’s a reflex from the pregnancy
@Jess yes me too and that’s what made it more painful because i knew i was hurting him
My son had active sleep until 12 months and sometimes he still cries out of nowhere and goes back to sleep. I wouldn’t feel guilty about it ❤️
It's probably just active sleep or maybe a gas bubble upset him. My firstborn would sometimes start to cry in her sleep because of active sleep but my second baby usually only cries/fusses in his sleep because he has gas or pooped. I cried and cried, sometimes cried so hard I made myself sick, during my pregnancies. They were/are both extremely happy babies, sleep crying can be a very normal baby thing, as long as everything else seems okay I wouldn't worry about it being from when you were pregnant 🫶🏻
No please don’t worry! It’s quite common for babies to do this. I was lucky- I had a really amazing pregnancy and was generally very happy throughout but my baby still cries in her sleep sometimes.
Don’t worry it will get better. My son did that he is now 9 years old, I cried all through my pregnancy. He is fine. I didn’t really much cry with my now 4 month old daughter, she doesn’t cry out her sleep. I will see what differences so far it’s some but you can’t help all pregnancies are different
Thank you so much everyone 🥺🥺🙌🏾
I also cry a lot during my pregnancy as so many other women. It can be really hard and hormones make it harder. What brings me peace is seeing so many women who were depressed during pregnancy have happy and healthy babies. I really don’t think it’s your fault. I hope your little one stops crying soon xx
