Warming bottles in hospital

Hey - any mums who used the ‘ready to drink’ milk bottles for when you were in hospital, did you just feed as is or did you bring a bottle heater in to make the milk warm? Ive got the ready to drink bottles and Ive got the Nuk bottle/food warmer but trying not to bring too much into hospital so wondering if you think its worth it?

They wot let you plug anything in. Also the more ways baby takes milk (warm, cold) the easier your life will be.

@Cal ahh ok thanks for the info! Im hoping the milk wont be ‘cold’ as Ive heard its so warm in the hospital anyway, but like you say the more ways the baby takes the milk the better!! Xx

@Beth for months our LO would even take it out the fridge (pumped) it was only when he got fussy at 6m we started actively warming it

@Cal ahhhhh ok good to know!! Xx

If they are them little bottles then the midwives can provide you a jug of hot water to pop the bottle into it to warm it up in x

When I was on the ward after birth, there was a feeding room with everything provided to either breastfeed or make it warm up formula

Hi darling, we have a WhatsApp group, it’s for mums of all ages in the uk, we chat and give advice if you want to join and make new friends give me a message x

I just used the ready to use ones at room temp, u don't need to heat them

My midwives warmed mine for me but tbh she didn’t mind cold milk either!
