Premature - Teething 🦷

Hi, looking for some support. My twins were born at 32+1. They turn 5 months old tomorrow. Recently, they have both had their hands in their mouth constantly, crying more than usual and feeding is slower than normal. I will speak to my H.V when they come out but just wondering if they possibly could be teething ? Unsure if it would be too early for them (due to being 8 weeks early) or if this won’t be a factor. Any help / advice would be amazing 🤩- first time mum, and always so cautious due to them being premature. Any tried and tested remedies or tips for teething would be great appreciated

8 weeks early won’t necessarily be a factor, some babies are born with teeth! My LG started teething quite early too but it took AGES for any teeth to actually come through! I really rate ambesol but I don’t think you can use it until 6 months corrected? Otherwise we got her one of those teething gloves and it worked a treat!

My son was 9 weeks early and started teething when he was 12 weeks old

My little boy started doing this at 3 months corrected age, lots of dribble etc. But didn't get his first teeth until 7 months corrected! They could be starting to move up. We got a teething mit to start with, things like a matchstick monkey was too big for him. Also Ashton and parsons gel as it's OK to use. Once he was 6 months corrected we started using the teething powders and anbesol liquid

About 7/8 months he was having bad temperature.

My boy born at 24 weeks 2 days tho on 10 march 2024 but due date was 28 June 2024
