Combi feeding preference
My son has expressed breast milk and formula. He seems to have a preference for the formula, is anybody else in the same position? He’s more fussy with the BM and pushes the bottle out of his mouth more frequently. He will still drink it but wondering whether to even bother if he has a preference

I an doing the same but i noticed if my bm was in a different bottle to the formula he would reject it. As we currently have mam & tommy bottles… think my little one prefers tommy tipee bottles! Since then no problems! Is he having each at the same temperature?
Mine was the same to the point I gave up with expressing and just went to formula only 😂
Thanks ladies. I’m going to try to persevere until his 16 week jabs I think. I do warm the BM up so roughly same temp as the fresh formula would be. Maybe my BM just isn’t as tasty as the formula lol

Yes! My baby went so far as to go on a nursing strike, rejected the breast altogether. I'm pumping and she pushes the bottle out, so clearly is the taste of breast milk. Otherwise happy with formula. Its totally up to you if you want to persevere but I was finding it so challenging and felt like I was "forcing" her to breastfeed, we're now exclusively formula feeding
