Elective C-section
Has anyone had a c-section with endometriosis?
I found out and had treatment for my endo in May last year and was very luck to fall pregnant in August but I’ve been getting a lot of pain still.
I have scoliosis as well as hypermobility so my midwife referred me to a consultant for my pregnancy.
They called today and are recommending that I have an elective c-section due to all 3 conditions 😭
I just don’t know if it will be a worse recovery than birth or if it will be better 😫
Any advice would be greatly appreciated 💛

I have endometriosis and also scoliosis. My scoliosis dramatically improved in the later stages of pregnancy and had no impact in giving birth vaginally. I was made aware though that it can make epidurals very challenging (my scoliosis is L1-L5), in the end I didn't have one. I had a appointment with the anesthetist on the lead up to labour to go through all the risks and challenges. Feel free to message me 👍

I have stage 4 endo and had an elective c section for breech presentation. It was a brilliant experience and my recovery was very good. The thing I hated the most was the spinal being put in and the blood thinning injections after and trying to do a 💩 was not fun initially but all in all felt good
