Frustrating inbetween

Hi ladies, I am in the frustrating in between of knowing I’m miscarrying (for the 3rd time) and waiting for my follow up appointment with the hospital to confirm that the pregnancy isn’t progressing. We went to the EPU today & knew what was coming but because of procedure they have to wait 10 days to confirm with a follow up scan. Can I ask, how long did it take for any of you to actually ‘miscarry’. I don’t remember how long it took previously. But I’d rather it happen naturally than with meds. Also, how long did everyone wait, to try again? Sorry for the long post, thankyou🌈♥️

I’m sorry to hear. I’ve had this happen several times and I’ve never started bleeding before the confirmation scan 14 days after the first. It’s frustrating. It really all depends how far along you are and how long ago the pregnancy failed x

So sorry you're going through this. I would like to start by saying everybody's bodies are different and not to compare your journey to others so you don't get discouraged ❤️ A good bit of information to know would be how far along you are? Miscarriages at 6 weeks are totally different than miscarriages at 16 weeks & would make a huge difference in both how long it takes to miscarry and how long it takes your uterus to recover and go back to 'normal'. Recovery is also different if you let it pass naturally or have surgery. There are so many factors at play. My story is sad but encouraging. After my MC at 15 weeks it only took me 4 weeks to ovulate (I had a D&C). We fell pregnant that cycle and I am currently 29 weeks 💖

@Michelle thankyou so much & im sorry for your loss but also happy for you now. According to the sonographers I am between 5.5/6weeks. They have said if I dont pass naturally they can give me meds, but I believe (also weirdly hope) that I pass it naturally in the coming days. My bleeding has gotten heavier since this started 3 days ago, but no clotting or hugely bad cramping.
