When does this get better?

I’m almost 2 weeks pp and shocked by how much pain I’m still in. I want to pick up my baby and not ache. What was your recovery like?

It does take a while to heal. I'm 4 months pp and I'm still tender especially if clothes rub on the scar 🙈 even the thought of it makes me feel sore 🤣 but it will get better in time 💖 if you're concerned maybe say to the doctor just to put your mind at ease 😊

The first few weeks are not fun. Around 2 months things started to look up. A little after 4 months I felt much better

Scar tissue damage is what I had for 9 years!!! Pain every time I'd move randomly, the second c-section fixed it, thankfully. I suggested giving yourself more time, drinking lots of water, and in 6-8weeks pp start massaging the scar tissue ❤️

My sharp shooty pains with bending went away around four-five weeks in. Remember C-sections are major stuff, and it unfortunately does take time for all that muscle to heal. Hope you feel better soon!

I started to feel better after 4 weeks mine got inflamed so ended up going doctors was given cream . Maybe try one of the postpartum belts for c sections they help loads x

When I say I did literally nothing for 3-4 weeks, I did NOTHING but feed my baby. My husband and I had an agreement so that I could heal as best as my body could, so I didn’t do any housework, didn’t cook, didn’t make myself tea or anything. I staggered my pain meds so that I was taking something around every 3-4hrs during the day instead of every 6 hours as well.
