Nexplanon

Has anyone else experienced this and can tell me when it's going to settle down 🫠 I'm 5 month pp with my second, had a Nexplanon implant fitted at 4 weeks pp. I've had 2 implants before (pre children) and don't remember it being like this... I've had more days of bleeding than not since it was fitted and I've actually recorded it this time. I had almost 3 weeks of spotting and then have been properly bleeding for 10 days now with no sign of it stopping still yet. So annoying as I'm EBF so if I hadn't of messed around with hormonal bc there's a chance I wouldn't have gotten my period back at all yet.

I had nexplanon between 16 - 26. When I got my first one fitted, I bled for pretty much six months before it stopped!

I had to get it removed because i bled so much

I'm the same i went to the drs and was told it can just happen for the first 6 months, they gave me period delay tablets to try stop it and nothing. I'm being tested to make sure its not made me anemic so I'd suggest go see your Dr and I was told if it doesn't settle by 6 months I might need to have it out and consider different types of contraception

It's different for everyone as with all contraception. Some people bleed everyday and others don't have a period while on it

I had the nexplanon fitted November 19th I've been bleeding ever since 🫠

Same thing happened to me, Had the Nexplanon fitted for the first time and I didn't have regular periods then got it removed and when I got it fitted for the second time and I was constantly bleeding. Afraid to get it a 3rd time after I give birth just because the symptons the second time was terrible.
