Thanks for your advice and words, much appreciated 😊 x
Im sorry for your loss in October. It’s a juggling act going thru IVF and with a 2yr old especially a sleep regression will send your hormones all out of whack. I have a 2 yr that has been on a sleep protest since October, and went thru a successful FET in December- it was hard with the hormones, but tried to give myself grace and blamed it all on the lack of sleep.
We did a round of ivf when our first ivf baby was 2yrs old. It worked first time luckily. It’s different as oddly it’s not your focus (your running around very much in your face toddler is!!) I felt less stressed during the process. Yes it’s so expensive but you have carried a pregnancy before which I think helps greatly with chances if success. You will cope with two babies - you have to and just will navigate it 💪🏼💪🏼 I would go for it. Pre- Plan how you will build your savings back up after you have spent it. There are payment plans you can do with some clinics
@Theresa thank you. Congratulations on your successful transfer and thanks so much for the advice. I actually haven’t thought too much about the hormones side of things and IVF but I think it will hit a bit harder this time around with the sleep deprivation and a demanding toddler! X
@Francesca congratulations and thanks so much for the advice and support. I feel like this time around is a totally different feeling to the first round of IVF! Less stress sounds like to me 😀 x
Ivf is an over whelming experience on its own never mind with a toddler on top of it! The sleep regression is not forever ,remember that. You will be able to look after a toddler and a baby at the same time! You have been through ivf lol that’s the hard part. With having 2 children is all about learning your new home life and finding a new routine that works for you. Definitely try as it could be your only chance and like you said you might regret it in the future. x
