I’ve worked overnights at Amazon. I’ve done some different shifts. It was lot of heavy lifting for me and physically demanding so that may be why it was a lot for me but It is difficult not gonna lie, and you will be exhausted! I have a three year old son and to be honest, after I was done working nights, I came home and rested and only saw him when I woke up and had to go back into work 2 to 3 hours later. You just have to find your groove and find time to rest when you get home. Also, black out curtains are a blessing for resting during the day!

I worked nights as a nurse for a year. I slept sooo much but still felt exhausted. Some people can do it and some can’t. You never know.

I’ve worked overnights 7p-7a for years and since having my son i can definitely say it hasn’t been easier but i would deff recommend having a good nap before work or trying to get a couple hours of sleep right after work to be able and manage and feel like a normal person. Also keep a routine on your days off for sure ! Blackout curtains will be your bestfriend, makes a difference for sleeping during the day

As a CNA, I’d use my breaks to nap if I could. My 30 and whatever 15s I got, but if you’re too sleepy then use them to walk around. If you have a partner, sleep when they’re home. Whether that’s a little before you go in or when you come home before they go in. Get extra rest for the week on off days. Gotta make a routine between your partner and her on when you can get a nap in depending on how many days a week you’ve picked up.

The best for me was 12s overnight but 3 days in a row to make up my FT. Usually the weekends to get the absolute most pay. Then the other 4 days was when I milked mommy time.

I currently work 7p-7a. I honestly love it.. it works for mine and my husbands life style. Plus i love the 4 days off. It took me a good 6 months to adjust to, but once I got that down, it’s been easy as long as i maintain my routine. I also have limitation due to my pregnancy and i am provided with more breaks and rest as needed, so that’s a bonus.
