Sleep in the night!

I am about 9 weeks pregnant and I just can’t sleep in the night at all. Maybe an hour maximum if I am lucky. Has anyone tried anything to help with sleep? During the day I am so tired and I just can’t function.

Masturbate? 😅 Melatonin isn't preg safe I think. Perhaps ask a doctor or midwife? I had naps during the day too

You could buy a pregnancy pillow, I had one with both my pregnancies and it was a life saver, especially in my second pregnancy. What about it can you not sleep this early in the pregnancy, is it pelvic pain, noise? xx

Supplement with Magnesium! It will help. Magnesium glycinate is best for sleep.

@Laura I am taking pregnacare max which has magnesium that doesn’t help

I use to sleep when I needed too. I also found this one thing that would help me sleep. Pregnancy insomnia is pretty normal. I had it throughout my pregnancy. All I recommend is tying to find what helps you. I use to listen to podcasts a lot I’d fall asleep 3rd one in 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣.

Oof, I've been there - definitely had insomnia during the 1st trimester of my last pregnancy. That combo of 'dead tired but can't sleep' is no joke. Bizarrely, the thing that helped me was listening to ocean noises on YouTube? I liked this one: https://youtu.be/vPhg6sc1Mk4?si=zHH32y4wQ6Iy751K White noise, rainforest sounds on Spotify would probably work too. It got much much better for me in the 2nd trimester, hopefully it will get better for you soon also. Sending good thoughts 🙏
