It could be because they are already head down. My baby is head down which is causing my baby to move less and I’m 29+4 and my placenta is at the back. If you’re worried then definitely contact the hospital!

I had a growth scan on Thursday and yes he was head down , so yes could be , I’m still feeling him but not as much so will just monitor, thanks x

Sounds very similar to me! I have scans every week due to my daughter’s heart condition and they just tell me to contact them if I’m worried about her movements. Aslong as you’re still feeling him that’s the main thing 🤞 you could maybe mention it to your midwife if you do become concerned x

I have an anterior placenta and am going through a similar experience. A couple of weeks ago I could feel her kicking every now and then to the point it was nearly painful. Now, at 31 weeks, I can only feel movements down low, just above my cervix really, but no more strong kicks. A friend of mine who is studying midwifery inspected my belly, and reckons the baby is head down. In each scan we had since the very beginning at 12 weeks, my baby always had her hands on the side of her face. If she really is head down, it would make sense for me to feel mild movements down below as it could be her moving her little hands around her face. Trying not to panic or else I'd be going in for reduced movements every single day 😅

Thanks Ambra I’m the same , I had a scan Thursday and he was head down which is why I can feel slight movements lower and then I can feel kicks occasionally to the sides near ribs. But yes trying not to worry too much as I’d be in everyday ahah x
