Car seat recommendations uk

Planning on getting a new car seat in the next month or 2 as the one with my pram is just a pain in the ass. What would people recommend, ideally seats that will last so ideally group 0/1/2 or 0/1/2/3 I’ve had a look at the joie ones as that’s mainly the brand I know but wanted to get personal recommendations. Also I don’t have a car with isofix so needs to be compatible with an older car (not sure if you can use some isofix without it installed in the car already) TIA xx Photo of the little chunk 🫶🏼

I have joei 360 goes in w seatbelt and never have to buy a new one again

Post in the car seat group here or on FB. Or visit a specialist retailer (not Halfords or Smyths) for a personalised recommendation and advice

Agree with above comment to join car seat safety UK on Facebook. We have the Avionaut Sky 2.0 for our toddler and love it, will last him till he’s 5/6 and ready to go into a HBB. Tethered and seatbelted In so no Isofix. X

@Charley I used to work for Halfords’s so don’t worry I won’t be going there it’s shit 😂

I have the maxi cosi pebble pro which I really rate x

We have an avionaut sky and i can definitely recommend overall and also for lasting a long time, been using it since he was 10 months (could have used it sooner but we had an infant carrier we used from birth up to then) he’s 3.5 now and still has a while left in it, it is a shorter shell than other 25kg seats so that’s something to bare in mind if your baby is on higher centiles x

@Tabitha are you sure you have the Joie 360? That installs with isofix only.

Best thing i can recommend is Car Seat Safety UK on facebook. They are specialists who can help and its really easy and quick 🩵

I have an ickle bubba 360 and goes up to 12 as far as I’m aware, it’s the only one Harrison will settle in and he’s had it since a newborn
