Nappies

What are the best leakproof nappies? My lb wakes up every morning wet through his chlothes…. Seems to be that the bigger the nappy the worse they get…. He’s in size 4. I could wake him in the night to change him yes, but he then doesn’t go back to sleep. We have tried Aldi normal, Aldi + range, Aldi pull ups and Asda little angels. We can’t use pampers they cause nappy rash for him.

How many months is he?

5 months old. He will be 6 months on the 19th. The fit is perfect of size 4

my LG has always used asda but recently she was leaking through every night.. we got a pack of morrisons as desperately needed them and she hasn’t woke up wet at all in the last week xx

I don't really have much advice as we have the same issue with pampers, only it's a poonami every time she does one! I did find sizing up helped with the nighttime leaking though

We use Sainsbury’s nappies size 6. For night time I use 6+ for extra absorbency. Had no issues x

Pampers premium are the only ones that I've has success with. Standard pampers I didn't and yeah they gave my daughter a rash

I love tesco fred and flo, we tried almost all. Kit and kin are great too but more expensive.

Personally I’ve never had a problem with the also nappies and would recommend them! I do tend to size up of a night for both babies and never had any leaks. Maybe try sizing up of a night and try your boy in 5s? X

Make sure the willy points down. I found that with boys especially this is so easy to miss and the will be sitting in wet clothes all the time. Then, no nappies will work. We used pampers all the way through

@Rasa we learnt this when he was a couple weeks old. He went through within 10 minutes 😅

Thank you everyone. I think I’m going to try a size 5 for night time. If no difference I might make my way round the other supermarkets… we’ve always used Aldi with no problems up until he moved up to a 4. I don’t want to use pampers and have him suffer with nappy rash 😕

Ok we use to use aldi but have moved close to a tesco so now use tesco own brand. Sainsburys own brand are crap! So thin! My girl is coming up to 8 months and is still in 3. When we was still using aldis I tried 4 and she ended up having a blow out (think it was because they were too big) highly recommend tesco 3 as they are a bit bigger then aldi 3 and might fit your little one better x

Aldi nappies and pull ups are great, as well as Tesco's. Also sainsburys pull ups are good too, never had a problem with using them on my little girl. We tried basically every brand x

Pura pull ups were fab for us.xx

I used Aldi size 1 and 2, but size 3 always leaked, so we've started using Asda and no leaks yet!

Lidl are pretty decent and size up at night. I've had this problem for years with my toddler x

I think it is all different for all babies. Pampers and sainsburys he still wakes up wet at least twice a week and we use the pull up pants

I use Aldi during the day and beaming baby on a night. Beaming baby are expensive but you can get good discounts on them. I've not experienced them leaking yet. Good luck!

Defo recommend Sainsbury’s, we have been using fro birthday and have little to no issues with leaks xx

Try sizing up his vest if he wears one. Also Tesco size 4 pull ups seem to work for us!

The only nappies I found that work of a night are the pamper pants they are expensive but they stopped my little one from leaking during the night as he wees so much! We use aldis during the day!

Pampers work really well for my 15w old but I know they cause nappy rash for your little one. Could try sainsburys they're really good nappies but they cause nappy rash on mine x

Try lidl or tescos. I found after size 3 aldi and asda were awful for nappies.

Sainsburys are amazing, just make sure you stretch the nappy open before you put it on him, he was leaking alot during night when he was between 3-4 , now he totally fits in a 4 and hes been fine throughout, just make sure the vests aren’t too tight either

Sainsburys x

I use morrisons own nutmeg and they don’t give a rash and he also doesn’t wet through xx

My sister would line the nappy with a reusable washable nappy liner. No nappy was leakproof with her little girl! But the liner fixed the issue :-)

I use pampers harmonie pants , they are a little bit more pricey than normal pampers but are amazing, since I started using them had no issues at all with leaking,
