Thanks- That’s a good shout that, I’ll try get her warm asap after the swimming. It’s trying to settle and dry at the same time. But someone suggested wrapping a hot water bottle in her towels and clothes for after which might help :) and massage I’ll just take out whatever area we’re doing rather than stripping off. I know it’s just wild if just never comment but some people can’t help themselves xx
Do you bring multiple towels for swimming? At least one for the initial drying, and then at least one more for when they're mostly dry but you can wrap them in it and snuggle them to warm them up
@Kat I did yes but I was juggling a bit with her crying. So it didn’t work great - hoping next time will be a bit better. :) xx
It's a lot to handle for sure! I'm sure you'll get used to it the more you do it :)
Think it will :) just got to get into a good routine with it, and practice xx
Thank you for replying- One was massage, which is quite a new thing being undressed and touched so much. I did hold her quite a lot during that one, but during she was inconsolable. Swimming was another - she loved the pool it was the getting dry and dressed part. I just can’t stand the comments like “where’s that noise coming from” “who’s that being so noisy” from other mums aswell and you’d think they’d be the most understanding. Just not what you need when you’re in the thick of it 🥺 I am trying my best, and she’s such a happy little girl any other time. Just finding it a bit hard at the moment. Xx
