Wanting to help

My husband's coworkers gf just had a baby at 34 weeks. They've been in the nicu for about 30 days. We are helping take care of their dogs (the hospital is like an hour away). We got their baby a stocking for Christmas as she was not expected until afterwards. I feel like all the attention is on baby and not on momma and I feel bad for her. She has a lot of guilt that's she's not sharing (only learned it from my husband talking to her bf). I want to help but I don't want to go to the hospital and risk getting her sick as I have Littles in daycare and work with 4 year olds. I thought about a pamper box but idk what I'd put in it. She doesn't have a bathtub so no bath bombs. I just feel like she needs a pick me up. She's not drinking any of her favorite things because there's caffeine in them. I'm almost leaving toward a Stanley bouquet but idk what I'd put in it. Any ideas?

Maybe some really nice comfy lounge wear, a nice pair of slippers with a good sole if she’s in the hospital still with the baby. A big water bottle is a good idea. Maybe a book, magazines or puzzle type books to do in hospital? Some nice snacks. Lotion, lip balm.. that kinda stuff?

Does she order door dash? You could get her a food delivery gift card so she doesn’t need to deal with dinner for a night.

I second Christina. Definitely DoorDash or uber eats gift cards. Snacks she can bring to the hospital. And we always love a good Stanley

Food delivery gift cards, grocery delivery gift cards, chocolate, comfort food snacks, nice lotions or face masks, fuzzy slippers, cozy PJs with button down top if she is pumping/breastfeeding

Lip balm, Panadol, hydrating powders, chocolates, snacks, vouchers, essential oils. 🫶🏼

Unfortunately we don't have door dash or Uber eats as we live in a small town. But there's lots of great ideas here! Thank you!

I’d do some more comfort items, fluffy socks, hot chocolate powder, snacks, even ready meals. Things she doesn’t need to take time to do but will mean a lot
