What can the start of contractions feel like?
Since I got home this evening I’m having like a pressure shooting pain come and go in my hips and pelvis. It feels like nerve pain. Doesn’t last long. Is this a sign of anything or is she just putting pressure on my pelvis??

Oooo lightning crotch... I do not miss that!!!!.
For me the start of contractions was like a mild cramp in my lower abdomen in the middle, nothing compared to any of the pain I actually had in pregnancy which progressively got stronger Seems more like baby is sitting awkwardly for you if it's only the shooting pains

Could be lightning crotch? That description sounds like it. Nerve pain..ish. Electric shock type pain. Usually when they're bouncing up and down on the nerves in your cervix 😫
