Vomitting during and after feeds
My little boy is just turning 14 weeks, he has been exclusively on SMA Pro formula since around 6 weeks old when my milk production stopped but was being combi fed previous to this. He has always took this formula well but over the last week he is vomiting during and after every bottle quite large quantities of milk to the point I’m having to change outfits after each feed and screaming when I’m taking the bottle away to burp him which is a new thing for him.
He’s also just generally unsettled throughout the day, not settling for naps and being really tearful which is not like him at all
Any idea what this could be? Could he be disagreeing with the milk all of a sudden? Not sure what to do to help him and it’s really stressing me out

Also my HV advised changing the test back to a smaller one so we were on a 1 back to a 0 (we use mam bottles) and pace feeding! There’s some really good videos on YouTube xxx Hope you get it sorted xxx

Hey lovely. Aww sounds like he’s struggling a lot and it’s so hard seeing your little one like that. We had the same issue and spoke with the health visitor (the gp was no use nor ornament) and said it sounds like reflux so advised starting him on baby thickener called carobel we tried it and lorddddddd it’s helped loads! No more vomiting and just the odd burp up spit. The beauty of it is that you can have it as thick or thin as you want in their milk but it can cause constipation too - but so does baby gaviscon. The other thing is that reflux is another Symptom of cows milk protein allergy that can be a late onset with some babies - something we have also developed the last week with a huge rash. I’d defo speak with your health visitor and see what they suggest but the carobel has helped us and our boy ❤️ I hope you get it sorted 🥰
