Teeth grinding?

I know it might sound weird but I think I have started grinding my teeth post partum I am waking up with really bad headache and jaw ache almost like cramp in my face. My front tooth has chipped slightly on the end and the one next to it feels almost wobbly or like it's moving ( it's not falling out or anything) I just wondered if anyone else has suffered from this before. I have a dentist appointment booked at the start of Feb but just wondering if there is anything I can do to help in the mean time x

This is something I have suffered with before pregnancy. The dentist will likely recommend a mouth guard to wear during sleep to protect your teeth. You can buy a generic sized one yourself or pay for a specially fitted one at the dentist (which is better and more comfortable) x

Brill thank you ! Is the one from the dentist loads of money ? I'm just worrying about the cost I've been looking at edge bonding for my chipped tooth and it's like 300 a tooth đź«

Depends if you’re with an NHS dentist? For me i was and it came under band 2 (that was to fix all the teeth I was breaking too) Private will be a lot more expensive! I wouldn’t recommend bonding until you have a mouth guard though as you don’t want to break it x

Same I ground my teeth so hard the night before last that I couldn’t eat on the left side of my mouth yesterday it was so bruised ! No idea why, never had this before
