Does anyone else’s two year old (or around that age) cry and say owie when they’re upset and not actually hurt?

My son just recently started doing this and idk if I should be worried about it or if he’s just trying to do whatever he can to get our attention asap. He says other things too like almost rotates the things he cries out

My 3 yr old recently started doing this. Whenever he doesnt want to do something or is upset about something, instead of saying no, he says ow ow, as if hes hurt. Idk why. He started doing that randomly a couple weeks ago

Just wants some sort of comfort for something imo my 2yo does this if I don’t console correctly over one (almost healed scabbed over) boo-boo she goes to spots she bumped last few hours with her 3yo bro she just has to be told big girl you’re okay that’s a big girl fall etc you’re okay just a bump she feels her emotions a lot this age I feel they are so young they obsess over the few painful moments they’ve felt

My 2yr old does this when she’s upset, I barely touch her or give her a kiss on the cheek and she’ll wipe it off and say “ouch”

My son says booboo when he cries sometimes when he doesn’t actually have a booboo, will fake cough to get me to ask if he’s okay , and fake sneeze so I can say bless you

My son started doing this at 2. Anytime someone told him something he didn’t like or made him do something he didn’t want to he would say they hit him or hit his feelings.
