Hot, red cheeks

Hey everyone, last night was a rough one with our almost 6 month old. She had a slight temp before bed but calpol done the trick, all night she’s been screaming in her sleep like she’s in pain and either one/both of her cheeks have been really really warm and quite red. Is this a sign of teething? She already has her two bottom teeth. I am exhausted😭

I would say yes, red cheeks is quite common I believe for teething!! Have you tried the ambusol teething gel see if that helps?

@Kat I’ve not tried anything yet, she was a trooper with her first two teeth. I’ll definitely have to give it a go today though. Thank you so much❤️

Awhhh bless her!! It is awful because there’s only so much you can do! I have a little boy who does struggle time to time and I find it eliminates some of the discomfort so definitely try! There’s quite a few like gels, powders etc too so if little lady isn’t a fan of the gel there’s other!! I hope you have a better day and night you poor soul!!❤️

Alternate calpol and ibuprofen for the next 24 hours see how she gets on. Hopefully she'll get relief once they cut.

We went for a doctors appointment ladies, she’s got a really bad viral infection😭 our first proper illness in 6 months, it’s breaking my heart x
