Bags for nursery

Etsy with name on for both, easy for nursery staff to identify who’s is who’s, could also use a cool block for transporting breastmilk x

I work in a nursery. There are some really sweet tiny little bags that I don't recommend, they need to be big enough to fit a few changes of clothes, bottles if you're providing those, maybe a puddlesuit or some shoes. A small children's backpack is great, I would also advise a personalised one or adding a keychain with their name or initials. I think I'm going to get my little one a personalised one from my 1st years. My little one was bought one from Rex London for Christmas. It's very sweet and I had asked for a small one (they do 2 sizes for children and this was the smallest). However since he's actually started nursery I've realised how much you need to pack daily so it's too small. Go for something a little bigger.

I just used a kids rucksack from next, she’s 6 now and can probably finally wear it herself 😂

For safety reasons, i wouldnt get one with her name on. A keychain with initials is a good alternative and just make sure its a decent size to fit everything in

On the names on bags thing, my Ada was constantly mixed up with another Ada (ones blonde and one’s brunette). We got art from the wrong kid sent home and clothes handed to us mistakenly but the bags were never wrong, I just picked a light colour patterned one and most of the others were plainer and dark

Please don’t get bags with names on as it is a safeguarding issue. Anyone can pretend they know your child’s name and try to convince your child that they know them. Add a removable name if that is needed, or some bags have hidden spaces to write names in.
