Out & about nipper wish I'd done that 1st time around xx
@Diane how did you manage without the car seat able to go on to the frame I can’t imagine having to wake sleepy babies and put into out n about x
Bear in mind that newborns shouldn't be in the car seat for more than 30 mins at a time. By the time you get both babies in their seats, get them in the car, drive to wherever you're going, get the pram out, put the seats on, do whatever you need to do, get them back in the car and get the pram in the car, then drive home and get them both into the house and out of their seats, chances are that's going to be more than 30 mins. I felt a bit more comfortable pushing that slightly because we had a lie flat car seat, but still never used it on the pram tbh (despite buying the adaptor which was always in the car with the pram). We have a bugaboo donkey which I love. Been in constant use for about 4½ years and still works perfectly. I love the flexibility so you can have the seats in pretty much any combination and also have it in single mode if only one child with you, and we've got the buggy board for oldest too. Handles like a dream including off road, and folds down quite small if you take the wheels off.
Bugaboo donkey is amazing, for flexibility and you can clip on two car seats (many prams only support one!) I really wanted a side by side pram especially for newborn stage, you want them both in view and at arms reach That said- we took it on vacation where we used a car and it was 1) really difficult to fly with as it was so bulky and 2) a lot of work to get in and out of the car. So for our next trip we’ll get a dedicated travel stroller. So just keep in mind it’s heavy if you use a car every day with the pram. Otherwise I highly recommend!
Thanks all so much x
https://a.co/d/5Uc6dDe This is the stroller I use for my girls I’m not sure if the car seat can fit since I have convertible 4 in 1 car seats so I’ve never tried. when they were little I would put a car seat insert to help them fit a lil better and I love it because they can be next to each other with out the divider
Mountain buggy duet is amazing, not much wider than a normal pram and fits through most doorways x
Avoid a Doona at all costs! It encourages leaving the baby in the seat for more than 30mins without a break. Also you’re better off with a high quality car seat and a pram instead of a travel system. You shouldn’t ever put car seats on the pram. Instead set up the pram and transfer baby if asleep.
Follow car seat safety UK Facebook group as car seats blew my mind with my first there are so many unsafe ones sold xx I've got twins in may too! We are going bugaboo donkey and then venicci avionaut car seats as had with my first and they are tested to highest standards and provide a really safe fit for premmie babes incase the twins are early but they will probs be small so going with that Congrats on the 👶👶.you can buy car seat adapters for prams so the safe car seat you pick fits too xxx
I have a silvercross wave for my twins I prefer tandam over side by side as its just easier when out and about
I had a bugaboo but it was too wide I coulsnt get into shops, cafes and the doctors. Plus it was too big when going to restaurants. I swapped it for the silver cross and I love it. I have no issues getting into places x
A tandem is also a good call. I have a double and triple tandem and love it because it’s so skinny!
Mountain buggy duet! Does it all x
Get the bugaboo donkey, best investment I made

@Lauren can the chairs recline so both twins can sleep at the same time? Can’t tell from pics online 🙏
@Lisa hey i didn't have it to start with only when my boys turned 1 but you can get adaptors I bileve I went through a couple of prams before I found the right one (not heavy with air wheels) we had the isafe tandem to start with but it got really heavy about 9 months Xxx
Mountain Buggy Duet no questions asked such a good pram x
Congratulations ❤️ I was expecting the twins and has made a research. For every day use Bogaboo donkey 5 is the best option ever and for car seats and travel Doona for each of them. I had pregnancy complications and now waiting for one baby boy. Just before the complications bought Bogaboo Donkey 5 “second hand” but in excellent condition form the friend. One push chair and carrycot are brand new, just one pushchair has been hardly used. I am selling it the same price I have payed for it. It’s washed black color. Can send you the photos and videos if you are interested.
