Gestational diabetes

Anyone been diagnosed at 9 weeks, I'm now 13 but finding the thought of this long process quite draining. I'm already on x2 metformin in the evening. And concerned what this means if I csnt get my morning fasting under control

It means you may have to inject insulin. It sucks (especially for driving!) but it sounds far worse than it is. It’s just a moment in time hopefully. ❤️

I always found it hardest to get my morning numbers within range. Eat early in the eve and an evening walk helped I found. You'll get into the swing of things in time x

How were you diagnosed so early? Did you have symptoms? And if so, what were they? I've got to be tested, but I don't have my test until I'm around 28 weeks. I'm currently 16+3. Sorry for the questions. X

Hey sorry have only just seen this. I think i had undiagnosed g.d from my first pregnancy and had some horrible complications and a premmie. I was monitored early and my booking bloods showed high glucose at 8 weeks. I then have been tested and diagnosed x

Ahhh i see. Thank you for replying. X
