Breast pump recommendations

Recommendations on a hands free breast pump please. I’m currently using a manual pump because the electric pump I have didn’t work very well and I feel like there wasn’t enough suction. I’m not getting much milk when I pump at the moment so I don’t want to spend stupid amounts of money when it might not work😢

I use the pippeta one and it works really well x

I received a medela swing flex and it is hospital graded and it had great suction. I started using it because I had no milk but with this pump I actually have milk.

I use the nuliee one from Amazon it’s really good x

Thank you everyone, would you say you can use these pumps on the go? I’m finding I’m losing so much time pumping manually so was hoping to find a hands free pump to save time and use whilst doing other things x

I use mine whilst doing house work etc they just slot in my nursing bra, they’re like £54 for 2 on Amazon atm xx

Hiya. I've got the Medela freestyle. I've also hired a Medela symphony (not hands free, hospital grade). I'm getting a bit more milk from the symphony but not that much of a difference that I will keep it after the month's rental is over. The freestyle may also be out of budget for you as it's not cheap - However, the biggest difference I found was buying flange inserts sized to my nipples - I had a lactation consultant measure me and let me know what size I needed, but you can measure yourself as well. With the right sized flange you can avoid making your nipples sore over time and it will make the pump more efficient. They're not too expensive and would be worth doing with any pump you use - e.g. the flange sizes that came with my pump were 21mm and 24mm but I actually need an 18mm. I think they tend to just err on the bigger side with what they include. You can measure with a tape measure or you can get a little sizer thingy with holes in it - another thing to buy but might be easier

These are what I bought: 4PCS Flange Inserts 18mm for 24mm... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CSFMRMHD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share This is the measuring thing: https://amzn.eu/d/44EEg2v This could be good to get in a hurry but you'll end up with stuff you don't need: https://amzn.eu/d/77ar8zM

I used the pipetta and it worked well x
