I work in a nursery and most people just send there children in primark sets I send my 7 month old in the tracksuit sets from primark and I pack a bib that covers his top half for when eating and if you haven’t already tried I use the oxy spray from Tesco it is amazing I think it’s £1.50/£2.50 and it helps to remove stains you spray on before washing x
I bought some tracksuit sets from Asda. Matalan, Sainsbury’s (TU) and Asda all have reasonably priced sets. We have a separate drawer of nursery clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty/ruined. As a pp has said, buying from Vinted is also cheaper
I do wherever I can get multi pack tracksuit bottoms / T-shirt jumpers for the cheapest. We have a distinct set of cloths for nursery and then for home 😂. Next do multi pack tracksuit bottoms and H&M have got some multi pack jumpers at the moment
I went H&M and Primark and bought a load of sets. Though he's only been going 2 weeks and they've already misplaced a load of it 🙈
Anything you don't mind getting messy or dirty as they will do or anything you don't mind getting lost or broken basically anything cheap and easily replaceable
Vinted is the best, second hand clothes are always the best way for nursery 😊👍🏻
I work in nursery and I send my child in primark or clothes from Vinted and second hand sales
I buy everything off vinted £3 and under x
Honestly, I get the matching top/leggings multibuys & a couple hoodies from Asda & send my daughter to nursery in those. I don't care if they get covered in paint, mud or food etc..... They are only nursery clothes. After the experience I had when my eldest first started nursery, I made the decision to buy my youngest 2 sets of clothing. 1 for nursery only & another for home. Its just easier & I don't have to worry about her decent clothing getting grubby.
Typically long sleeve tops (multi coloured pack) from Sainsbury’s and leggings/tracksuit bottoms from Asda. Also buy a few dungarees from Vinted that are Next or M&S as they have good longevity x
Thank you all for your comments I’ll definitely have a look on Vinted xx
We also use vinted (but buy bundles only). I usually find that by the time you buy one or two things from different sellers you are just aswell going to the supermarkets and buying multipacks of leggings etc., as the postage and buyers protection on vinted add up really quickly. Also, anything stained I use vanish on. Usually the stains don’t come out completely but I send him to nursery in stained clothes 🫢. Anything that was once good and gets ruined there gets kept for nursery. They even put a post up telling parents not to worry and that they prefer it because they encourage messy play. I think we all didn’t like sending them in like that but the reality is that every day they will come out with a fresh stain lol xxx
M&S and Next tracksuits from Vinted, I get those brands because they are good quality and can with stand wear, tear and washing! And I buy from Vinted so I’m not bothered if it gets ruined because I pay like £2-£3 each set x
