I told my manager at 7 week but I had complications and been in hospital, also had previous miscarriage. If hadn't been for complications I wouldn't told until 12 weeks
I told line manager at 4 weeks as I needed my duties altering and a risk assessment
Completely up to you! I told my line manager when I got my booking appointment through as I needed time off for that We then went through the policy and i had time to look over pay, how long I wanted off etc Then I didn’t tell anyone else until after my 12 week scan But a few had guessed by then as I was sick a lot haha x
Completely up to you and how you feeling. I told my manager quite soon due to previous miscarriage and IVF. But didn’t tell anyone else until after 12 weeks. It can be helpful to speak to senior so they can do risk assessment with you and make adjustments to your workload if needed
I didn't tell my manager until I had my 3month scan. However if you're having symptoms that's affecting you're work then maybe tell her sooner. There's no right or wrong time it's just when you feel comfortable. I think they prefer to be told immediately so they can better "support" you but it's entirely up to you.
