Lost just under a stone, just through calorie counting and the gym occasionally
Lost about 18-20kg and have gotten so many compliments by cutting out sugar (still enjoy a desert here and there), going to hiit classes once or twice a week and strength training one or twice a week too, drinking more water and eating in a calorie deficit. I try and eat healthier, a lot more protein but still enjoy a takeaway, or out to eat every weekend. But the best thing I did for myself was honestly cutting down on sugar massively.
Hey I returned to exercise 4 weeks pp but I exercised prior and during pregnancy and was fortunate to have a lovely pregnancy and labour. I do Pilates and yoga and I feel such a difference in strength and pelvic floor. My weight is slowly going but I am also breastfeeding. But I need to be mindful of my food because if that’s not right for me it doesn’t matter how much I exercise the weight won’t budge I need to do both x

After about 5 months PP someone took a photo of me with my son and I was HORRIFIED! That really gave me the push I needed to sort myself out. I went walking / jogging / running the same route everyday, it was about 45 minutes. I made sure I did min 10K steps everyday and used the TDEE calculator to work out my metabolic rate and just ate the calories under it so that I was constantly in a deficit. I was 79kg in May, went down to 73kg by July. Just walking and eating less was all it took. Even with the pram I took my son with me to include him. I’m pregnant again and I will definitely be doing the same this time round but I don’t think I’ll leave it as long as 5 months. I’ll try start a little sooner
